Bedford Park: Two Sought for Commercial Robbery

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the people seen in the attached photos who they say are wanted in connection with a commercial burglary that occurred in Bedford Park.

 

Police said that on Thursday, July 10, at around 4.06 a.m., two unidentified people unlawfully entered a business located at 3000 Jerome Avenue through an unlocked front door. The address is that of Blink Fitness.

 

They said the two stole store merchandise, and one of them used scissors to break the cash register and steal around $142. They said the suspects then fled on foot, northbound on Bedford Park Boulevard to parts unknown.

 

“There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident,” a police spokesperson said. “The first sought individual is described as a male with [a] medium complexion. He was last seen wearing [a] black hat, [a] white t-shirt, red pants, and white sneakers.”

Police said the second suspect is also described as male, has a medium complexion, and was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, gray pants, and black sneakers.
