The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photos who they say is wanted in connection to an assault that occurred in Bedford Park.
Police said that on Sunday, July 6, at around 4 p.m. in front of 254 East 203rd Street, a 73-year-old male victim was approached by an unidentified person with a dog. “A verbal dispute ensued, and the individual punched the victim multiple times in the face,” an NYPD spokesperson said. “The unidentified individual then fled the location on foot with a dog, traveling eastbound on East 203rd Street. EMS transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.”

They said the suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion, who is around 6 feet, 2 inches tall, and was last seen wearing a purple baseball cap, a black t-shirt, black shorts and black sneakers.
