The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photo who they say is sought in connection with a robbery and assault that occurred in the Bedford Park section of The Bronx.
Police said that on Wednesday, Nov. 19, at around 10.03 p.m., a 23-year-old female victim was walking in the vicinity of East 204th Street and Valentine Avenue when she was approached by an unidentified person.
They said the suspect threatened the victim, punched her in the face and stole her cellphone out of her hand. They said he then fled the location on foot traveling northbound on East 204th Street. They said the victim sustained minor injuries but refused medical attention.
Police said the suspect is described as male, and was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, black pants, and black sneakers.
