Eric Dinowitz, a special education public school teacher and candidate for City Council in the 11th District, has been endorsed by Congressman Adriano Espaillat. Espaillat is a New York City progressive, and was both the first formerly undocumented immigrant and first Dominican elected to Congress. On Monday, Nov. 30, the New York City Department of Buildings (DOB) released its October 2020 enforcement bulletin, which provides highlights of the agency’s actions to sanction and deter bad actors in the construction industry through the enforcement of safety laws and codes of conduct for construction professionals. The New York City area may experience severe weather, including potential wind gusts over 40 mph, starting Monday, Nov. 30. Accordingly, the New York City Department of Buildings (DOB) is reminding all builders, contractors, crane operators, and property owners to secure their construction sites, buildings, and equipment. The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the man who appears in the attached photos who is wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred in the 52nd precinct. On Thursday, Oct. 1, 2020 at 7.51 a.m., in front of 2359 Jerome Avenue in the University Heights section of the Bronx, a 26-year-old male victim was involved in a minor vehicle accident with the suspect. A number of residents who live at and adjacent to 3440 Gates Place in Norwood are living in fear of rats which they said are frequenting the alleyway where the garbage is stored, adjacent to the building. The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Josmer Tena Valverde, 17, who was reported missing in the 44th precinct. Josmer was last seen on Tuesday, Nov. 24, at around noon inside her home at 1551 Sheridan Avenue in the Claremont section of the Bronx.
