Erica Rosero, a certified business advisor at the Bronx Business Development Center (SBDC) at Lehman College, was recognized recently for bringing more than $23 million in grants and loans to small businesses in the Bronx during the past year.   Rosero, a 2015 Business Administration and Computer Information Systems graduate of Lehman, was honored in November by the Small Business Administration for having the TOP IMPACT in the New York City region from October 2019 to September 2020.   During that period, the Lehman SBDC secured $29,580,823 in resource funding.   Gov. Andrew Cuomo warned on Monday, Dec. 7, that additional restrictions will be applied to indoor dining if hospitalization rates don’t stabilize in the next five days. Mt Eden: 65-Year-Old Man Lying on Street Struck by Vehicle

On Thursday, Nov. 26, 2020 at around 9.11 p.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding a pedestrian who was struck by a motor vehicle at the intersection of Grand Concourse and Mount Eden Avenue, in the Mt. Eden section of the Bronx, in the 44th precinct.   Upon arrival, officers observed a 65-year-old man lying on the roadway, unresponsive. NYC Health + Hospitals Continue to Urge New Yorkers To Get Flu Vaccine

In observation of National Influenza Vaccination Week, NYC Health + Hospitals continues to urge New Yorkers to get a flu vaccine, available at more than 60 patient care sites across the five boroughs.   The CDC recommends everyone aged six months and older get a vaccination to protect against the flu.
