I Heart Hamas, features a woman’s cross-cultural journey between San Francisco and Palestine, April 3 ($15); Dancing Like a Girl: NYC B-girls in the 1990s, includes hip-hop history, April 4 ($10); Staceyann Chin, a one-woman show followed by a book signing, April 10 ($20); and Lift Every Voice, featuring four singers performing jazz, rap, rock, and more, April 11 ($20). • Wave Hill offers two family art projects: My Green Heaven, to roll down hillsides and explore a world of hues in paint and collage, April 4 and 5; and Daffy for Daffodils, to join a parade of spring blossoms in a hat or costume, April 11 and 12; both in the Kerlin Learning Center from 1 to 4 p.m. Wave Hill also hosts an exhibition reception to meet the artists and curators of “Arbores Venerables,” April 5 from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Glyndor Gallery. • En Foco and Pregones Theatre present Mi Sangre, a free photo exhibition held at the theatre, located at 571-575 Walton Ave. (between 149th and 150th streets), through May 9, by Mexican-American photographer, Rojelio Reyes Rodriquez, currently living and working in New York City. • The Bronx Museum of the Arts, 1040 Grand Concourse at 165th Street, presents a three-part exhibition series commemorating the Grand Concourse’s centennial, starting with The Grand Concourse at 100, through July 20. • The Bronx Council on the Arts presents two exhibitions at the Longwood Gallery at Hostos, 450 Grand Concourse (149th Street), Mondays through Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., including Dream Sequence, through May 9, free, which explores a number of themes using drawings, paintings, photography, sculpture, and video (an artists talk will take place on May 9 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the show’s closing); and Vidal Centeno: F119, in the gallery’s Project Room through April 4. • The Lehman College Art Gallery presents Viñoly in the Bronx, highlighting building designs of architect Rafael Viñoly, including a model of Lehman’s APEX Building. • The Orchid Show: Brazilian Modern, designed by landscape architect Raymond Jungles, which draws on his work with the late Roberto Burle Marx, renowned Brazilian artist and landscape architect, takes place in the New York Botanical Garden’s Haupt Conservatory through April 12. During this exhibit, a complementary hands-on children’s program, Chocolate and Vanilla Adventures, will be held in the Everett Children’s Adventure Garden, to learn about the plant origins of these two sweet treats, including making and tasting these products, through April 19.
