New York Lottery officials announced Wednesday, May 27, multiple top-prize winning tickets were sold for the May 26 Take 5 evening drawing.
They said the tickets were sold at Lava Max Laundromat, located at 3559 White Plains Road in the Olinville section of The Bronx, which sold one prize-winning ticket worth $15,073.50 and at RT 24 Deli, located at 1820 Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow, which sold one prize-winning ticket worth $15,073.50.
Lottery officials said TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a field of one through 39, and added that the drawing is televised twice daily at 2.30 p.m. and at 10.30 p.m. They said a lottery draw game prize of any amount may be claimed up to one year from the date of the drawing.
They went on to say that the New York Lottery continues to be North America’s largest and most profitable lottery, contributing $3.6 billion in fiscal year 2024-2025 to benefit public schools in New York State.
