
An off-duty NYPD employee was arrested in the Bronx on Sunday, May 3, police said.
An NYPD spokesperson said at around 7.11 a.m. on Sunday, Miguel Texidor, 32, an NYPD police communications technician, was in the confines of the 45th Precinct, which covers the Bronx neighborhoods of Co-op City and City Island.
The spokesperson said Texidor was charged with assault. He is presumed innocent unless and until convicted in a court of law.
