The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photo who they say is wanted in connection with firing a gun at a home in the Bedford Park section of The Bronx, recklessly endangering those inside.
Police said that on Monday April 6, at around 11.23 p.m., a 48-year-old female victim was inside her home in the vicinity of East 205th Street and Lisbon Place when an unidentified person discharged a gun causing property damage to her front door. They said the person then fled the location on foot traveling westbound on East 205th Street and there were no reported physical injuries arising from the incident.
The suspect is described as male, and was last seen wearing a black face mask, a black sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and black sneakers.
It is unknown if the incident is related to potential domestic violence or stalking. However, local services for those affected by domestic or gender-based violence are available in The Bronx.
