Kingsbridge Heights: Person Sought for Groping Woman

THE NYPD IS appealing to the public for help identifying this person who they say is sought for questioning in connection with a groping incident that occurred in the vicinity of Albany Crescent and West 231st Street in the Kingsbridge Heights section of The Bronx on Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2026.

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photo who they say is wanted in connection with a groping incident that occurred in the Kingsbridge Heights section of The Bronx.

 

Police said that on Tuesday, Feb. 17, at around 7.27 p.m. in the vicinity of Albany Crescent and West 231st Street, a 37-year-old female victim was walking when she was approached by an unidentified person who engaged her in conversation.

 

“The individual continued to follow the victim from behind and grabbed her buttocks over her clothing,” a police spokesperson said. “The unidentified individual then fled the incident location on foot, traveling northbound on Albany Crescent toward West 231 Street to parts unknown.”

 

Police said there were no physical injuries reported as a result of the incident. They said the sought individual is described as male, and has a light complexion.
