Following some posts on social media which made reference to an alleged group assault on a person at Bedford Park Boulevard subway station, serving the B/D trains in the Bedford Park section of The Bronx on Thursday, Feb. 19, at around 8.45 p.m., Norwood News followed up with the NYPD to ask if the incident was founded, and if they had any additional information.
We were subsequently informed that the victim left the station prior to the arrival of officers on scene and that there is no report on file.
