New York Lottery officials announced Friday Feb. 6 that there was one prize-winning ticket sold for the Feb. 5 TAKE 5 EVENING drawing in The Bronx. They said the ticket was sold at the Check Cashing Place #79 located at 5625 Broadway, and is worth $31,093.50.
The New York Lottery continues to be North America’s largest and most profitable Lottery, contributing $3.6 billion in fiscal year 2024-2025 to benefit public schools in New York State.

In September 2003 the paper expanded to cover University Heights and now covers all the neighborhoods of Community District 7. The Norwood News exists to foster communication among citizens and organizations and to be a tool for neighborhood development efforts. The Norwood News runs the Bronx Youth Journalism Heard, a journalism training program for Bronx high school students.
