The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached video and photos who they say is sought in connection with a residential burglary that occurred in Bedford Park.

Police said that on Wednesday, Sept. 10, at around 4 a.m., in the vicinity of Perry Avenue and Mosholu Parkway South, an unidentified man entered the building through the front door, gaining entry as a tenant was exiting, and proceeded to steal a wrench, paper towels, and batteries.

They said he then fled on foot to parts unknown. They said the value of the stolen property was around $53 and added that there were no injuries reported following the incident.

Police said the suspect is described as male, has a dark complexion, and was last seen wearing a black shirt, multicolored pants, and multicolored sneakers.
