The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the eight people seen in the attached photos who they say are wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred in the University Heights section of The Bronx.
Police said that on Saturday, July 26, at around 11.30 p.m.in front of 21 West 183rd Street, an unidentified person (seen in Photo #1) approached a 51-year-old male victim sitting in his car and dragged the victim from the vehicle.

They said the suspect then punched the victim throughout the body and robbed him of his wallet and necklace. “The victim fled the location, and seven additional individuals entered the victim’s vehicle and removed property including the victim’s cell phone, car keys, speaker and child car seat,” police said.

“After, all eight individuals fled on foot to parts unknown,” police added. “The victim sustained injuries to their head and back but was not hospitalized as a result of this incident.”

Police said the first suspect is described as male, has a dark complexion, and was last seen wearing a dark hat, a gray shirt and green pants.
They said the second suspect is also described as male, has a dark complexion, and was last seen wearing a black hat, a white shirt and dark shorts.

They said the third suspect is also described as male, has with a dark complexion, and was last seen wearing a dark shirt, blue jeans and blue sneakers.
Police said the fourth suspect is also described as male, has a dark complexion, and was last seen wearing a black hat, a white shirt, black shorts and white shoes.

They said the fifth suspect is also described as male, has a dark complexion, and was last seen wearing a green hat, a multicolored shirt, pants, and white sneakers.
They said the sixth suspect is also described as male, has a dark complexion, and was last seen wearing a black head cover, a black shirt, black pants, and black and white shoes.
