Two New York City Employees Arrested in The Bronx for Assault

Police said a 48-year-old male, off-duty, New York City employee and a 28-year-old female, off-duty New York City employee were each arrested separate incidents in The Bronx over the weekend.

 

Police said James White, an employee of NYC Administration for Children’s Services (ACS), was arrested within the confines of the 52nd Precinct on Friday, Aug. 22 at 00.25 a.m., and was charged with assault. The 52nd Precinct is home to Bedford Park, Fordham, Kingsbridge, Norwood, Bronx Park, and University Heights.

Separately, on Sunday, Aug. 24, at 1.40 a.m., Sheila Nunez Lopez, a 28-year-old NYPD officer, was arrested within the confines of the 40th Precinct and charged with assault. The 40th Precinct serves Port Morris, Mott Haven, and Melrose.

Both are presumed innocent unless and until convicted in a court of law.
