Fordham Manor: Man Sought for Robbery & Assault

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photo who they say is wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred in the Fordham Manor section of The Bronx.

 

Police said that on Wednesday, July 16, at around 3.23 p.m., inside a business located at 53 East Kingsbridge Road, an unidentified person stole an item and attempted to exit the business without paying.

 

“When the unidentified individual was confronted by the 42-year-old male employee, the individual punched the victim multiple victims in the face causing a laceration to the left eye, bruising and swelling to the face,” a police spokesperson said. “The individual then fled the location on foot, traveling westbound on Jerome Avenue to parts unknown. The victim was transported to St Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.”

 

Police said the suspect is described as male, has a dark complexion, and was last seen wearing a white sweatshirt, blue shorts, white sneakers and a red bookbag.
