The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the two people seen in the attached photos who they say are wanted in connection to a robbery that occurred in the University Heights section of The Bronx.
Police said that on Sunday, June 29, at around 5.45 p.m., a 40-year-old male victim was in front of 2255 Jerome Avenue, when he was approached by two unidentified people riding a two-wheeled, motorized bike.
‘The first individual displayed a firearm and forcibly removed the victim’s necklaces valued at approximately $2,200,” a police spokesperson said. “The unidentified individuals then fled on the two-wheeled motorized bike, traveling westbound on Buchanan Place to parts unknown. There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.”
Police said the first suspect is described as male and was last seen wearing a black ski-mask, a black helmet, a white tank top, black shorts, and black and white sneakers. They said the second suspect was also described as male and was last seen wearing a black face mask, a black helmet, a black sweatshirt, blue jeans, and white and black sneakers.
