New York Lottery officials announced July 6 that a top-prize winning ticket was sold in the Olinville section of The Bronx for the July 5 TAKE 5 Evening drawing. They said the ticket was sold at S&Y Liquors Inc., located at 3775 White Plains Road, and was worth $32,540.50.
They said TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a field of one through 39 and the drawing is televised twice daily at 2.30 p.m. and 10.30 p.m. A lottery draw game prize of any amount may be claimed up to one year from the date of the drawing.
New York Lottery officials went on to say that the lottery continues to be North America’s largest and most profitable Lottery, contributing $3.8 billion in fiscal year 2023-2024 to benefit public schools in New York State.
