Kingsbridge: Three Sought for Attempted Armed Robbery of Delivery Worker

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the three people seen in the attached video and photos who they say are wanted in connection with an attempted robbery that occurred in Kingsbridge.

 

Police said that on Sunday, June 1, at around 00.05 a.m. in front of 288 West 238th Street, a 43-year-old male victim was delivering food on a moped when he was approached by three people.

 

“One of the individuals displayed a firearm and struck the victim on his helmet while the other two individuals attempted to forcibly remove the victim’s keys from his person but were unsuccessful,” a police spokesperson said. “The three individuals then fled on foot, northbound on Corlear Avenue to parts unknown.”

Police said there were no injuries reported as a result of the incident.

 

They said the first suspect is described as male, has a medium complexion, and was last seen wearing a black ski-mask, a gray, hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and gray sneakers.

They said the second suspect is also described as male, has a medium complexion, and was last seen wearing a black, ski-mask, a black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and black sneakers.
