Following String of Robberies, Norwood Thief Caught

The man who allegedly committed a string of robberies in Norwood and Bedford Park is now under arrest, police say. He robbed eight women before being detained. Police say Germaine Butler, who is being charged with five counts of robbery and three counts of grand larceny, was hiding at his sister’s in Long Island after having been identified by several news outlets. iPhone Thefts in Norwood Police need help identifying two suspects wanted for stealing two iPhones in Norwood. According to police, the men allegedly stole an iPhone 8 and an iPhone 8 Plus from the T-Mobile store on 370 East Gun Hill Road on Oct 26.     Both men are dark skinned and slender, police say. Bronx Cops Close in On Repeat Robber in Norwood

Police in the Bronx have identified a suspect wanted for robbing at least eight women in the Norwood section and surrounding neighborhoods. The man, known by police but unidentified by the public, remains at large. Officers with the 52nd Precinct’s Neighborhood Coordination Officers assigned to Sector C, where the majority of the crimes happened, are now patrolling the neighborhood during the day. CATHOLIC ELEMENTARY SCHOOL ROBBED Five people entered St. Nicholas of Tolentine School in Fordham through an unsecured door and took around $4500 worth of laptops and other electronics before taking off on Oct. 23, police say. Bronx Cops on Hunt for Daytime Rapist in Norwood

Police are on the hunt for a daytime rapist who lured a woman to an alley not too far from North Central Bronx Hospital. The rape happened on Oct. 24 at around 4 p.m. near DeKalb Avenue and East 208th Street, according to cops. They say the perp led the woman to an obscure spot where he punched her then raped her. Repeat Robber Cops need help tracking a mystery man (left picture) wanted for a couple of robberies around the northwest Bronx over the span of three days.
