Longwood Arts Project will have its opening reception of “Home is Where the Bronx Is” tonight, Wednesday, April 4 from 5 p.m. to 9. in the Longwood Art Gallery at Hostos Community College, located at 450 Grand Concourse (at 149th Street). The opening will coincide with the April Bronx Culture Trolley, which rolls out on the first Wednesday of every month. “Home is Where the Bronx Is” will display the work by the 2010-2011 “Bronx Recognizes Its Own” (BRIO) award-winning artists. The exhibition will be on view from April 5 to June 6. Tonight, the Bronx Culture Trolley will depart from Hostos at 5:30, 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. Passengers can view many cultural attractions and have the option of enjoying dinner and entertainment.
